The mother of the late actor Kim Sae Ron has just sent a new statement to the media, reaffirming that her daughter dated actor Kim Soo Hyun when she was a minor.
At the beginning of the announcement, Kim Sae Ron's mother said: "After much hesitation, I took all the courage to share this."
She said the case is under investigation, the authorities have advised the parties to limit their contact with the media and Kim Sae Ron's family has complied.
However, according to her, Kim Soo Hyun's legal representative continuously posts videos on YouTube, aiming to " spread false information and lead the public".
Kim Sae Ron's mother said, "To avoid the public being affected by false information and to misperceive the case, we will release some of the available evidence."
She added that, even if they added evidence, Kim Soo Hyun would continue to make similar allegations, so whether the evidence is fabricated or not will soon be determined through an investigation.
Kim Sae Ron's mother said that many acquaintances of the late actor gave statements proving that Sae Ron dated Kim Soo Hyun when he was a minor.
An acquaintance is believed to have stated that Kim Soo Hyun had driven Sae Ron and her friend to the airport before the Jeju trip.
Another acquaintance revealed that Kim Sae Ron once renamed his two cats "Dal" and "Gureum", after the character names in the movie "Moon Embracing the Sun" in which Kim Soo Hyun participated.
Some of his former classmates are said to have known about the relationship and confirmed that Kim Sae Ron called Kim Soo Hyun by the nickname Dal-nim. Minutes of statements from witnesses were also provided.
In addition, Sae Ron's mother published a note that was said to have been written by Kim Sae Ron on September 28, 2017, before Kim Soo Hyun enlisted.
Some excerpts include: We dont have much time left (Kim Soo Hyun enlisted on October 23, and this note was written about 25 days earlier). You want to be with me every day until then, is it wrong?".

She said that such statements appear only in a relationship, and confirmed that the notes showed that Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun had been dating since before September 28, 2017.
Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun's side still maintained that he only started dating Kim Sae Ron after she was an adult (around 2019-2020), and completely denied the accusation of being in a relationship when Sae Ron was a minor.
Kim Soo Hyun has filed a criminal lawsuit against the late actor's family and YouTube channel leader Garosero - Kim Se Ui - for defamation, under the Law on Information and Communications networks, and requested compensation for damages of 12 billion won.
