However, on October 13, Money Today reported that according to the investigation and evidence they collected, the man who texted Kim Sae Ron was likely not Kim Soo Hyun.
In June 2016, at the time of appearing in the message, Kim Soo Hyun was very busy with a busy schedule for filming "Real" throughout the month. The actor participated in filming for 18 days that month, including June 22, 25 and 26 - the same days when Kim Soo Hyun was accused of continuously sending messages asking for hugs and kisses, and even mentioned the places he met Kim Sae Ron.
In fact, Kim Soo Hyun's filming took place in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, starting at 8am and ending around 10pm to 10pm. As the male lead appearing in most scenes of the film, Kim Soo Hyun always comes early and leaves late every day.
The distance from his house in Seongsu-dong, Seoul to the Yeongjongdo set took 2 drivers each way. This means he had to leave the house at 6am and return around midnight. With such an schedule, Kim Soo Hyun could hardly maintain the habit of texting or dating freely as described.

This shows that Garosero and Boo's lawyer intentionally concealed the schedule or actual activities of the senders, the lawyer argued.
Kim Soo Hyun's lawyer added: "Kim Sae Ron's family knows who sent the 2016 message. Therefore, the group of lawyers previously requested the police to search and seize data from related people.
It is impossible to just review the documents published by Garosero. If the investigation agency collects all the content of KakaoTalk group messages between Garosero, family and lawyer Boo Ji Seok last March, along with all the phone and cloud data the family has viewed, it will be able to prove that they know that the person who sent the 2016 messages was not actor Kim Soo Hyun, but still deliberately spread false information.
In addition, the 2018 message published by Kim Sae Ron and Garosero's family also showed signs of being fabricated.
In the message, the person believed to be Kim Soo Hyun said: "We are scheduled to meet on Friday, right?", "I want to see you right now", "I'll go to the hospital this afternoon, have dinner and exercise, I'll have about 9 hours off".
But at that time, Kim Soo Hyun was in the army, participating in combat training from April 2-5, 2018.
Money Today said that they have contacted Kim Se Ui many times to request clarification, but he has not responded to any calls or messages.
