Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin has filed a lawsuit against HYBE's Chief Communications Officer (CCO) Park Tae Hee and Public Relations Director Cho Sung Hoon.
Min Hee Jin's representatives announced that they have filed a criminal complaint with the Yongsan Police Station, accusing CCO Park Tae Hee and Public Relations Director Cho Sung Hoon of violating their duties.
Min Hee Jin claimed that they were responsible for promoting NewJeans but failed to fulfill their duty. Instead, they caused serious damage to ADOR and NewJeans by sabotaging the group's performance.
"We hope they will face criminal penalties commensurate with their crimes," the female CEO said.
Previously, CEO Min Hee Jin - who trained and made NewJeans famous - also filed a lawsuit against BELIFT LAB - ILLIT's company (under HYBE) - for defamation, demanding 5 billion won in compensation.
Meanwhile, BELIFT LAB filed a lawsuit against Min Hee Jin in May 2024, accusing her of spreading false information and obstructing business operations. The company also released a 27-minute YouTube video and an official statement denying each point of Min Hee Jin's plagiarism accusations.
Min Hee Jin resigned as CEO of ADOR in August 2024 and then withdrew from the board of directors in October 2024.
