The Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1270/QD-TTg dated June 24, 2025 promulgating a list of public service units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Accordingly, Co Loa film studio and the Center for Cinema Engineering will merge into the Vietnam Center for Cinema, Sports and Tourism. This center was renamed the Vietnam Cultural, Sports and Tourism Cinema Center, to be completed before August 1.
On August 7, the new board of directors was introduced with a team of managers of the Vietnam Center for Cinema, Culture, Sports and Tourism - a unit under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
In which, actor Minh Tiep will hold the position of Deputy Director of the new unit after the merger of 3 units.
Minh Tiep shared: I really hope that there will be many films, documentaries and activities related to sports, culture, and tourism taking place at the center. I also hope and hope that there will be many partners cooperating and developing with the center in the future.

Previously, artist Minh Tiep was appointed as Deputy Director of Co Loa studio from December 1, 2023.
Minh Tiep was born in 1977, pursuing an artistic career by acting in films "New Stairway", "Behind a Death", "Green Ban Mai", "Project for the Heart"...
In 2017, he received a master's degree in Cultural Management from Hanoi University of Culture. After that, Minh Tiep was appointed Deputy Director of Ngoc Khanh Cinema Cultural House (Vietnam Film Institute).
In 2021, Minh Tiep was appointed Deputy Director of the Center for Cultural Industry Development under the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts.
