Recently, singer Billie Eilish unexpectedly posted a photo of Justin Bieber as a child on her personal Instagram, while the Canadian star was being interested in and suspected of being a victim in Diddy's (Sean Combs) shocking sex scandal in the entertainment industry.
The “Bad Guy” singer has been known to be a die-hard Justin Bieber fan since she was a child. Billie Eilish’s mother Maggie once revealed that there was a time when she and her husband were very tired because their daughter loved Justin Bieber so much.
According to Maggie, Billie Eilish can cry over Justin Bieber at any time and seems to be obsessed with the male singer's songs, especially "As Long As You Love Me" (a song released in 2012, when Billie was 11 years old).
While taking Billie Eilish to the gym, she witnessed her daughter sobbing while driving down the road, right when Justin's hit "As Long As You Love Me" came on.
Billie Eilish's parents even considered taking her to therapy because of her "overly idol-obsessed" attitude.
In many interviews, Billie Eilish proudly admitted that she is a “Belieber” (the name of Justin Bieber’s fan community). Since the age of 12, the singer worried that she would never have a boyfriend because she loved the Canadian star so much.
At the Coachella music festival in 2019, Billie met her idol in person for the first time. She covered her face and cried because she couldn't control her emotions. Justin also gave his die-hard fan a tight hug.
In early 2020, after Billie Eilish made history with 5 Grammy Awards, including 4 of the most important awards, in an interview with Apple Music in February of the same year, Justin Bieber expressed his admiration for the young talent, and emotionally confessed his desire to protect Billie in showbiz.
“She was crazy, she was a star. I wanted to protect that moment (when the two met at Coachella).
"I want her to know that she can always rely on me. Let her do her thing and if she needs me, I'll be there to help," Justin Bieber said in tears.
Upon hearing these words from her idol, Billie Eilish immediately shared a series of photos of her room filled with Justin Bieber images. Outside the room, there is a sign that reads: "Forever Belieber - Billie's room".
Both Justin Bieber and Billie Eilish started out as internet stars, reaching the heights of fame as teenagers. But both stars have struggled with mental health issues.
Billie Eilish was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome as a child, which causes her to have movement disorders, body twitches and involuntary speech. Sharing with Teen Vogue, the singer admitted that she suffered from depression between the ages of 13 and 16. From the age of 17, the depression improved, but she suffered from anxiety and panic attacks.
This is reflected in her dark musical products such as "Lovely", "Bury A Friend", "You Should See Me In A Crown", "Listen Before I Go"... making her known as the "queen of depressive music".
Justin Bieber also had to be treated for depression because of the pressure of becoming famous too soon. According to People, Justin, who was a friendly and sweet guy, gradually changed, afraid to face people and the camera lens.
After marrying Hailey Bieber, Justin's condition gradually improved. Recently, the couple welcomed their first son.
