Actress Le Ha Anh plays the role of the Red boat driver on the Thach Han River in "Red Rain". Among the first squad of all- male young men, Hong became a gentle "pink ball" but still resilient in the rain of bombs and bullets.
The image of her driving a boat at night carrying troops across the river to the Quang Tri ancient citadel accepting the imminent danger left many emotions in the hearts of the audience.
The character Hong also symbolizes love - a romantic color appearing in a fierce picture.
Ha Anh shared about the love story in war according to her personal feelings: Love in wartime is always difficult, it is difficult to meet each other, share feelings with each other and the biggest difficulty is that after each meeting, not knowing whether we can meet again later or not, or that is the last time meeting the other person. When participating in the film, I feel more secure in appreciating love.
Talking about the character Hong, Lam Thanh Nha in the role of Binh once hinted: "If war is a brutal color/Sao Binh finds a pink color on the river side".
Right from the audition round, Ha Anh shed tears while reading the script. When officially chosen, she was happy and spent a lot of time preparing, from physical training to learning to drive a boat with a boat rower with more than 20 years of experience.
Talking about the memorable memory while filming in Quang Tri, Ha Anh recalled: I had a scene of a soldier hugging his backpack. I watched the rain filming that scene at the river wharf. After that, I fainted from being too moved and absorbed the cold rain.
At that time, director Dang Thai Huyen continued filming behind the scenes, then she turned around and hugged me, without saying anything. I was extremely moved... The scenes in the film all gave me strong emotions, I was always moved but had to suppress them to express the emotions of the characters".
The 9X actress said that through the film, she learned more experience and had experiences that not everyone had. In the film, Ha Anh left a simple face and was praised for her emotional acting.
