On his personal page, Park Seo Joon posted a photo from the welcoming party for V (BTS) discharged from the army. V and a group of powerful close friends including Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Sik, Park Hyung Sik and Peakboy immediately met after the male singer completed his military service.
V's 5-member group, named Wooga Squad, have been playing around for nearly 10 years. Their friendship began in 2016, when Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Sik and V participated in the historical drama "Hwarang".
After filming together, they became close, then the group "admitted" Choi Woo Sik and Peakboy, both close friends of Park Seo Joon in the entertainment industry.
The powerful Wooga Squad Association of Korean showbiz has accompanied each other in work and life for nearly a decade.
In 2022, V's group participated in the reality show "In The Soop: Friendcation" and recorded their vacations and gatherings.
V once revealed that Wooga is the abbreviation of "Woori-ga Ga-jok Inka" meaning "We are a family".

Currently, the BTS fan community is looking forward to the group's early return to many activities. V said he wanted to run to ARMY fans as soon as possible. "Please wait a little longer and we will return with a great stage," V said on the day of his discharge.
On December 12, 2023, Jungkook and Jimin were the last two BTS members to join the military. To date, 6/7 members of BTS have returned after completing their mandatory military service.
Suga, who is currently a social service worker, is expected to be discharged from the army on June 21.
Their post-war plans have attracted much expectation. Jin released his solo album just four months after his military discharge; J-Hope continued to release a single a year after his return.
Pop culture critic Kim Heon-sik said that BTS has strengthened their overall strength even during their military break and their fan base is still strong. After a short hiatus, they are likely to return as a full group.
