On July 9, actor Brad Pitt continued to take new legal action in the dispute with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, related to the sale of shares in the Chateau Miraval winery in France.
According to page Six, Brad Pitt has filed a lawsuit in court requesting access to private messages between Angelina Jolie and Alexei Oliynik - representative of Stoli Group, the unit that bought Chateau Miraval shares from the actress.
The actor also asked the court to force Mr. Oliynik to attend the trial to take statements to serve the trial.
Brad Pitt argued that he had repeatedly tried to dialogue with Alexei Oliynik to clarify the issue but had not received any cooperation.
Oliynik cited Swiss law as not allowing the country's citizen to appear in California, where the lawsuit is ongoing.
However, Brad Pitt said he only requested a statement from a distance - which was completely legally feasible.

Chateau Miraval was the common property of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie during their marriage.
After the shocking divorce, Jolie suddenly sold her stake to Stoli Group, a move that Trump was accused of "intentionally and in retaliation" against him.
The actor has been in litigation since 2022 and believes that Stoli - headed by CEO Yuri Shefler - was the " mastermind" of the deal, with Oliynik as the key factor.
A source revealed to page Six: Brad was forced to act.
Although the divorce officially ended in December 2024 after 8 years of dispute, Brad Pitt still could not help but lose her connection with her children.
Brad Pitt was once honored as The Most Exciting Man in the World by People magazine, while Angelina Jolie has been leading global beauty rankings for many consecutive years with the title of the most beautiful woman on the planet.
This makes their divorce not only a love story, but also the focus of the world media.
