The new Miss World 2025 Opal Suchata Chuangsri is the first Miss World from Thailand.

She went straight to the top 40 thanks to winning the media competition, showing that she is very popular with Thai and international audiences.
In the top 4 behavioral round, Opal received the question: "What did this journey teach you about truth, responsibility and the stories told? ".
The beauty said: "This is a special opportunity that I have in my life. Here, I learn responsibility. The other girls and I have become a version of the people we admire. No matter where you are, what you do, or when, you have friends who admire you. Those are the people who lead you to greater roles and responsibilities. And I'm following that path."
The answer helped her overcome 3 candidates from other continents and won.
Opal Suchata Chuangsri is 1.8m tall, with a bright appearance. Opal is a Law student at Thammasat University, majoring in International Relations, fluent in English and Chinese.

The beauty queen born in 2003 said that cancer cures have inspired her throughout her time fighting this disease.
"After I had surgery at the age of 16, I realized that my biggest fear was losing the opportunity to live my dream," Opal shared.
Opal Suchata Chuangsri won the crown of Miss Universe Thailand 2024 last July, then represented this country at Miss Universe 2024. As a result, Opal won the 3rd runner-up title.
After that, she gave up her title and registered for the 72nd Miss World contest.
