Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen has just shared her first thoughts after finishing her journey at Miss Universe 2024 with a top 30 achievement.
In a post on her personal page, Ky Duyen expressed her pride in her 10-year journey pursuing her dream, saying that her dream had been completely fulfilled.
Ky Duyen was named 4th in the top 30 list and is the first representative from Southeast Asia to be announced.
However, a small detail caused controversy when Ky Duyen confused the order of names, claiming that she was third after the representatives from France and India, while in fact she was fourth after the representatives from France, India and Serbia.
After realizing her mistake, she quickly edited her post.

Miss Vietnam 2022 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy - after being crowned Miss International 2024 - announced the date of her return to her homeland Vietnam after a long journey in Japan.
She is expected to arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport tomorrow morning (November 18).
The bus parade in the ceremony welcoming Miss International back to her hometown will run through major streets of Ho Chi Minh City such as: Nguyen Van Troi, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Independence Palace, City Theater, Nguyen Hue Walking Street, City People's Committee, City Post Office... and end at the Golden Lotus Building at 6D, Truong Sa as a thank you to the audience who supported her throughout her journey to conquer the crown.
