The movie "Phía bên kia thành phố" is gradually coming to an end and the character Tuyet Lan (young actress Tu Quyen) plays continues to attract attention. Because she wants to avenge her deceased older brother, Tuyet Lan has planned methodically to divide the friendship between Khue (Thai Vu) and Cuong (Hoai Vu).
However, everything seemed to be out of Tuyet Lan's control when Cuong and Khue fought, causing Khue to suffer traumatic brain injury, no longer a mathematical genius and Cuong had to drop out of school and possibly go to jail. Although she was the one who caused everything, Tuyet Lan still did not have an official apology to Cuong and Khue and still argued that she had her own reasons.

Sharing about her controversial debut role, young actress Tu Quyen said that initially she was quite nervous when reading the audience's comments and realized that those comments were all valuable.
I am happy to be recognized by the audience, but I also always remind myself not to fall asleep in praise. With opposing opinions, I try to see it as an opportunity to learn and improve myself. I think the luckiest thing is that the character Tuyet Lan has created emotions for the audience. Whether loving, sympathetic or even debating about the character, it also shows that everyone is really following and accompanying the story," Tu Quyen shared with Lao Dong.
Tu Quyen added that there are some scenes that make her think a lot, especially when Tuyet Lan has to make choices while her emotions are being suppressed to the extreme. "When reading the script, I often ask myself "If I were at that age experiencing such things, would I have enough reason to act differently?". The interesting thing is that the more I accompany the character, the more I realize it is very difficult to answer that question. Because every decision of Tuyet Lan comes from the hurts and losses that she has had to endure for a long time," she explained further.
The actress born in 2006 also said that there were times when she did not completely agree with Tuyet Lan's choice, but she thought that was the point that made this character closer to the audience.

Tuyet Lan is also greatly affected by past injuries, to the point that many of her decisions are led by emotions that cannot be let go. That is what makes me both sympathize and feel sorry for Tuyet Lan in her journey," Tu Quyen added.
