Actress Park Ji Hyun showed her wealth when investing in buying luxury goods for her role.

In a recent interview, actress Park Ji Hyun surprised everyone when she revealed that she had to buy all the luxurious outfits and accessories for the role of Sang Yeon in Netflixs You And Everything else (co-starring with Kim Go Eun).

Explaining the reason, Park Ji Hyun said that because she has not received any sponsorship like most previous Korean dramas, she has had to buy everything herself.

To portray Sang Yeon, especially a successful and wealthy woman in her 40s, Park Ji Hyun needs a luxury wardrobe.

"I discussed a lot with the costume team. Fashion style for her in her 20s and 30s is very important, but I think her 40-year appearance is the most important thing.

I refer to the fashion of the successful women I know. Personally, I have spent my own money to buy all kinds of clothes and accessories, even suitcases, scarves, watches and earrings, Park Ji Hyun shared.

The actress admitted that, although sometimes very stressful, she generally likes this process: I like that kind of detail. Sometimes I wonder if I'm a bit too much, but when people say I really look like a woman in her 40s and those outfits are perfect, I feel proud in my heart.

To be honest, I don't usually wear luxury goods. I often wear begging pants normally. But who knows, I will use them again one day.

My closet is gradually turning into a dressing room. I kept telling myself to stop if I wanted to save money, but it was difficult to give up... In a way, I think it was my hobby. Creating my own style according to the model helps me both in terms of acting and appearance".

When asked which item she bought the most for Sang Yeon, Park Ji Hyun revealed that it was the Patek Philippe Nautilus watch, with a known price of more than 100 million won (about 1.8 billion VND). After finishing filming, Park Ji Hyun no longer wore this watch but only kept it carefully.

After the interview, Korean audiences looked at Sang Yeon's appearance at the age of 40 in the movie "You And Everything else" and discovered that she was wearing many branded clothes, wearing expensive handbags such as Hermes Birkin, Hermes Kelly... Their value could be up to hundreds of millions of VND per one.

In the post that attracted more than 75,000 reads on theqoo online community, many viewers were surprised by Park Ji Hyun's investment in the role and realized the actress's wealth.

I was jealous because she was so rich that she could buy all those things, How did she get that Hermes bag or watch?, It seemed like she had put all her money into this project. It is a bold investment. Later, she will flood her head in the script to see... Her acting is also incredible...

Normally, when playing upper-class characters, actors are often sponsored by many luxury brands to complete their appearance. Therefore, Park Ji Hyun's self-investment to complete his "rich appearance" is a rare case.

Some other audiences pointed out that Park Ji Hyun comes from a wealthy family, so it's no surprise that she has the ability to buy luxury items.

Many people even suspect that Park Ji Hyun's Hermes bag and branded items collection invested in the role may be even higher than the salary she received.
