In Tao Quan 2025, actress Anh Tho appears as a candidate for the Heavenly Court entrance exam.
This is the second time Anh Tho has appeared in the Tao Quan program. Previously, she played a small role in Tao Quan 2022.
Before entering Tao Quan, Anh Tho acted in many TV series and was nicknamed "the badass maid" of Vietnamese cinema by the audience.
Opening the series of "badass maids" of actress Anh Tho is the role of Van in "Grandma doesn't eat pizza" (2010).
Coming to "A Lifetime of Enmity" (2017), Anh Tho continued to take on the maid role that made her name in the primetime film project 7 years ago.
As a maid, Ms. Ut bluntly criticized the homeowner's two sons and mercilessly "trolled" the female boss.
Anh Tho's "career as a maid" has not stopped yet when in 2021, the actress continued to take on the role of Ms. Hoan, a maid for Tue Nhi (Kha Ngan) and her father in "11 months and 5 days".
With a strong personality, sometimes reckless, Ms. Hoan often makes people laugh with her humorous lines.
Playing the role of a maid with many different personalities, actress Anh Tho left a strong impression on the audience through her natural, witty, and humorous acting even in ironic film situations.
Actress Anh Tho’s full name is Le Anh Tho. She was born in 1973 and currently works at the Youth Theater. Anh Tho has played many roles in prime-time television dramas on VTV.
Films that actress Anh Tho has participated in include: "Life is still beautiful", "A lifetime of resentment", "Balana boarding house", "11 months and 5 days"...
Few people know that when she took the university entrance exam, her family wanted Anh Tho to become a doctor like her mother. She passed the entrance exams to Hanoi Medical University and the University of Theatre and Cinema but hid her admission notice to study medicine to pursue art.
Actress Anh Tho graduated with honors and passed the entrance exam to the Youth Theater, but her work was not easy. When she first started her career, Anh Tho only played extras, running back and forth on stage. "There was a time when I was discouraged, so I studied English and computer science to change careers, but office work was not suitable for me," actress Anh Tho recalled.
Anh Tho's love for the stage was nurtured from a young age, when her father took her to practice violin. After each class, she would go downstairs to watch the drama class and began to love the stage.
Recalling her journey of auditioning and studying at the Youth Theater, the actress still couldn't help but feel emotional and choked up. She said: "I went through 3 rounds of evaluation to apply to the Youth Theater. There were more than 1,000 candidates registered for the audition. The final list of successful candidates had 25 people.
I still remember clearly the morning of September 3, 1990, when I saw my name on the list of those who passed the entrance exam to the Theater, I felt like I was in the clouds. I cycled home from the theater, trembling with joy. I cycled around the market three times, then cycled back to the Youth Theater. At that time, I met my friend who had also passed the entrance exam that year, and we rode all the way home until evening, because we were so happy."
