Good Boy is an action comedy about young athletes who become police officers through a special recruitment program. They exchange medals for police badges, and fight against a society full of corruption and injustice.
The film is directed by Shim Na Yeon, who is famous for The Good Bad Mother, The host, and written by Lee Dae Il, who wrote the script for Life on Mars, Chief of Staff. This combination promises to bring a work that reflects dramatic and attractive social reality.
Park Bo Gum plays Yoon Dong Joo - a former member of the national boxing team - becoming an enthusiastic young police officer.

To prepare for the role, Park Bo Gum spent more than 6 months on physical training. Reports say he has been practicing every day, spending 1 hour on strength training and 2 hours on fists.
