Recently, Park Seo Joon appeared on singer Sung Si Kyung's YouTube channel. During the conversation, he shared about his acting career, his relationships with famous people like V (BTS), and his co-star Han So Hee in the recently aired drama "Gyeongseong Creature".
The actor said he really likes Han So Hee's youthful, straightforward personality: "Many people say Han So Hee is a typical Gen Z personality. She is truly a breath of fresh air. She is straightforward and not too polished, and I really like this."
Besides, Park Seo Joon recounted his pursuit of acting passion.
Park Seo Joon shared that he decided to pursue acting in his first year of high school, he said: “I was very shy when I was young. I couldn’t even speak in front of others and I felt like a fool.” That caused Park Seo Joon to be bullied, so he wanted to become an actor to gain more confidence.
“In the end, I think it all comes down to self-esteem and confidence. Back then, I lacked confidence because I thought I was nothing special. But when I started acting, I became more confident,” Park Seo Joon said about how acting changed him as a person.
Up until now, Park Seo Joon has grown to love this job more and more. Because acting makes him feel "alive", and feels like he is "the only person in the world", "like being in another space". Park Seo Joon emphasized that he seems to be "addicted" to the feeling of acting.
During the conversation, Park Seo Joon also mentioned his close friendship with V (BTS): “Because I am close with Taehyung (V's real name) BTS, whenever I go to his concert, there are a lot of great fans.
The exhilaration that singers feel on stage is something I may never experience in my life, so I was curious about what that feels like.”
Park Seo Joon debuted in 2011 when he appeared in a music video. He officially began his acting career with the KBS2 drama “Dream High 2” in 2012.
