Joo Ji Hoon's movie "Light Shop" has just been released and is causing a stir

The movie "Light Shop" (played by Joo Ji Hoon) attracts audiences with unexpected details and horror elements.

“Light Shop” tells the story of guests with hidden secrets who are drawn to the mysterious lamp shop run by Won Young (Joo Ji Hoon).

The story also takes place simultaneously at a hospital - where nurse Young Ji (Park Bo Young) forms a strange connection with the people who come to the lamp shop.

After releasing the first 4 episodes on December 4, “Light Store” received positive feedback.

Wikitree reviews that in the opening episodes, the work blends elements of suspense, mystery and the supernatural. In particular, Joo Ji Hoon's character Won Young leaves a strong impression as the mysterious shop owner.

Although he appears to be a middle-aged man, behind the sunglasses Won Young wears, the audience sees the image of an old man around 70 - 80 years old. The mysterious origin of the male lead is also a curious factor.

On the other hand, the way he silently observes and chats with the mysterious guests who visit the store is completely opposite to the tension that Young Ji and Hyun Min (Um Tae Goo) feel when they are caught up in inexplicable events.

In particular, in episode 4, the scene where Young Ji is trapped in an elevator with a mysterious man, Seung Won (Park Hyuk Kwon) - who begins to secrete water from his body creates an atmosphere of fear and curiosity for viewers.

According to Korean newspapers, on social networks, viewers left many comments such as: "Horrifying!", "I couldn't sleep after watching the movie", "A movie with many strange moments but extremely interesting and creepy"...

Previously, author Kang Full described “Light Shop” as a combination of horror, thriller and romance, bringing a deeper emotional approach.

He believes that multiple layers of entertainment will help the film resonate with audiences - the way his other work, “Moving,” did.

“Light Shop” will air two new episodes every Thursday. The show will end on December 18.
