According to Allkpop, in addition to debuting on JTBC cable TV on May 31, the Korean drama Good Boy will be released on both major online platforms, Netflix and Disney+ in Korea.
Recently, the trailer for Good Boy was officially posted on both platforms.
Internationally, the show will be broadcast exclusively on Amazon Prime in more than 240 countries and territories.
According to the media, Good Boy is the second Korean drama to air on both major platforms, Netflix and Disney+, after JTBCs 2022 hit Reborn Rich.
As a JTBC product, the film will also be available on TVing, as part of the partnership, sharing content between CJ ENM's tvN and JTBC.
Good Boy tells the story of Yoon Dong Joo (played by Park Bo Gum), a former national boxing athlete who won an international gold medal, becoming a police officer through a special recruitment program for medalists.

In the trailer, in addition to the main character Dong Joo, the producer introduced a number of other characters who were police officers with glorious past, including: the Ji Han Na (Kim So Hyun) shooting gold medal, the Kim Jong Hyun (Lee Sang Yi) fighting silver medal, the Go Man Sik (Heo Sung Tae) fighting bronze medal and the Shin Jae Hong (Tae Won Suk) discus throwing bronze medal.
But their golden days are fading away. Currently, they face a gloomy and harsh reality when becoming police officers.
Their lives will turn to a dramatic direction when Min Joo Young (Oh Jung Se) - a cruel villain who rules Inseong city from darkness - appears as the last enemy. With his dangerous presence and contempt for law and order, even his image makes people tremble.
The audience is placing high expectations on this work, because this is Park Bo Gum's latest project after his impressive performance in Netflix's "When Life Gives You Tangerines".
Some audiences pointed out that Good Boy promises to be a work worth watching because the film is directed by Shim Na Yeon - the director who took on the crime drama Beyond evil (2021) and is also the director of the film The Good Bad Mother (2023).
