In the afternoon of 5.5, with 100% of the National Assembly deputies present, the National Assembly passed the Resolution of the National Assembly on the amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and the National Assembly's Resolution on the establishment of the drafting committee to amend and supplement a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
In particular, the Resolution on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution consists of 2 Articles.
Article 1: The decision to consider amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2013 to implement the policy of arranging and streamlining the organizational structure of the political system, focusing on the regulations on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and the decomposition of administrative units, local government organizations.
Article 2: The National Assembly established a Committee to draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution to preside over and coordinate with agencies performing the task of developing a draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and submitting them to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the 9th Session.
The Resolution on the establishment of the Draft Committee for amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution resolves: Establish a Draft Committee for amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution consisting of 15 members, including: 1 Chairman, 3 Vice Chairmen, 3 Standing Committee members and 8 Members.
In which, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man is Chairman of the Committee; Vice Chairmen of the Committee are: Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh; Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long.
The Standing Committee members include: Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice Hoang Thanh Tung; Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh; Vice Chairman - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thi Thu Ha.
The draft committee amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution is responsible for researching and developing the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2013; Organize the collection of people, sectors, levels, explain and absorb the opinions of the people, sectors, levels and opinions of the National Assembly deputies to complete the draft Resolution to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and approval.
