Inspired by the 12 billion laws of the East, the film Twelve tells the story of 12 gods living in human form in the human world to protect the Korean Peninsula from evil spirits.
Long ago, the gods sacrificed themselves to seal the dark forces behind the gates of hell, bringing peace. However, when the evil spirits wake up, peace is once again threatened.
The newly released poster shows the upcoming confrontation between the two powers. Standing guard at the gate of hell is Tae San (played byMa Dong Seok) - the tiger god and the leader of the 12 warring gods, who plays the central role on the poster.
Facing the gods is Ogui (Park Hyung Sik), the film's dark, attractive villain. Ogui is a crawl with giant black wings spreading out in a threatening way, cold eyes suggesting the desire to turn the world into chaos.

Joining Tae San in the mission of protecting the world are many other gods, including: monkey Won Seung (Seo In Guk), dragon Mir (Lee Joo Bin), pig god Don Yi (Go Kyu pil), gang Ji dog god (Kang Mi Na), rat god Jwi Dol (Sung Yoo Bin), horse god Mal Sook (Ahn Ji Hye) and snake god Bang Wool (Regina Lei).
