Prime Minister shares about the domestic National Day atmosphere with overseas Vietnamese in China

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hopes to convey to overseas Vietnamese in China a joyful atmosphere, patriotism, and national pride in the country.

On the morning of August 31, in Tianjin, during the program to attend the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit and work in China, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with the Vietnamese community in China.

Speaking at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh conveyed the greetings, greetings, and best wishes of General Secretary To Lam and Party and State leaders to the Vietnamese community in China, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

Wishing to contribute to conveying to overseas Vietnamese the joyful atmosphere, patriotism, and national pride in the country these days, the Prime Minister said that after 80 years, our country has achieved great achievements of historical significance, our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position, and international prestige as today. This is our pride.

Recently, we have implemented many large and very meaningful tasks to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, such as completing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide; implementing the program to build 1 million social housing apartments.

In particular, the Party and the State have decided to give each citizen 100,000 VND, with a total cost of about 11,000 billion VND.

We have opened the National Achievement Exhibition "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness" and the forces are also actively preparing for the celebration, parade, and parade on September 2.

Following the direction of the Party and State leaders, agencies, forces and Hanoi city have carried out many activities to care for drinking water, food, shelter, public transportation... for people from afar to watch the parade and parade.

"The people are very interested in parades and marches and especially believe in the leadership of the Party with the spirit of " saying goes hand in hand", bringing happiness and prosperity to the people. Since its establishment, our Party has always strived to do its best for the two most important goals, which are to bring independence and freedom to the country and the nation and to increasingly improve the material and spiritual life of the people" - the Prime Minister shared.

Expressing his delight at the increasingly positive developments in Vietnam - China relations, the Prime Minister affirmed that the overseas Vietnamese community has made an important contribution to the country's achievements over the past 80 years.

Responding to the proposals and recommendations of overseas Vietnamese at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hoped that the community would always be united and well integrated, Vietnamese enterprises operating in China would comply with the provisions of local law; promote the spirit of national pride, actively contribute to the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The Prime Minister also hopes that Vietnamese students in China will actively learn Chinese knowledge and experience to contribute to building and developing the country.
