MBN reported that the Yongsan Police Department (Seoul, South Korea) has arrested a woman around 40 years old, identified as A, on charges of breaking into a private house.
A was suspected of breaking into the parking lot of BTS member Jungkook's private home at around 11:20 p.m. on August 30.
It is known that A followed a car into the parking lot. A security guard checking the security camera discovered the incident and reported it to the police.
When arrested, A confessed to the police that she "only went into a friend's house".
This is the second time Jungkook has been targeted by a crazy fan for breaking into his house since his military discharge.
In June, the same day Jungkook was discharged from the army, a Chinese woman over 30 years old tried to break into the singer's house. This person was arrested while trying to enter the front door password many times.
During the questioning, the person stated that she went to Korea with the desire to "meeting Jungkook after he was discharged from the army".
When the incident occurred, BTS's management company BigHit Music quickly issued a statement. They confirmed that they closely coordinated with the authorities and submitted evidence, including a video from the CCTV system to support the investigation.
BigHit Music also affirmed that it will continue to pursue this case and request appropriate criminal handling for illegal entry. The Chinese woman has now been indicted.
However, the fact that fans are constantly trying to approach and harass BTS members is causing concern.
In addition to Jungkook, V also had to speak up when he witnessed fans welcoming him at the airport, causing chaos and disrupting public order.
