Despite being an A-list star with a series of successful films before, Trieu Le Dinh, Thanh Nghi, Ngu Thu Han... still make fans bored with their poor film achievements.
Zhao Liying
2025 is a year to forget for Zhao Liying when the series of movies and TV series did not have good results. The film "Hoa Ngoai Duong" released in April had a revenue of 200 million yuan (about 700 billion VND) but received many criticisms.
Viewers rate the film as having empty, long-running, illogical details and making it difficult to create empathy. The 8x beauty's performance was too rigid, unnatural, deliberately using a local voice but "not coming", exaggerated.
Some opinions say that Zhao Liying continuously chose roles with tragic fates, exploiting the pain of women to attract attention and win awards.
The short film "At nhan gian" aired at the end of May was also heavily criticized for its emptptptptpture and poor acting. The film has a Douban score of 6.7 with more than 50,000 reviews. The average number of views of the film is only 8.86 million/episode.
Thanh Nghi
Thanh Nghi has two films to air in 2025, "Pho Son Hai" and "Thien Duong Ca Trai" (former name "Ho Yeu Thuong Hong Nuong: Vuong Quang Thien"). Both in the martial arts genre, which is the actor's strength, the two films have surprisingly low achievements.
Right from the first episodes aired, "Pho Son Hai" received many negative responses because of its clever and post-production effects, illogical script, many " headends", and bad character shaping.
