Gia Lai - After the flood receded, many schools and hospitals were flooded with mud, the police force focused on supporting these facilities.

On November 24, the Ministry of Public Security provided the Gia Lai Provincial Police with 260 officers and soldiers to carry out the task of overcoming the consequences of floods in areas that suffered heavy damage.

The officers and soldiers were reinforced from the Ho Chi Minh City Police, Tay Ninh Provincial Police and the People's Police University.

Immediately after arriving in Gia Lai, 100 officers and soldiers of the Tay Ninh Provincial Police Mobile Police were divided into 3 platoon groups, increasing support in areas of Tuy Phuoc commune, where flooding was caused by the break of the Luat Le dyke.

Here, the support force coordinated with the Gia Lai Provincial Police and Tuy Phuoc Commune Police to overcome the consequences of floods in schools and medical centers in the area.

The soldiers prioritized cleaning the school environment and health centers to meet the needs of teaching and health care for the people.

100 officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police Department also urgently deployed to overcome the consequences of floods at Quy Nhon Labor Hospital and Lung Diseases and Quy Nhon Mental Hospital. Where there is a large number of patients coming for examination and treatment.

After the flood, many households in Gia Lai had their houses flooded. The authorities have supported rearranging the beds, collecting the swept away property, cleaning the wells and disinfecting the living area.

Faced with the risk of an outbreak after the flood, clearing water flows, treating water resources and cleaning the environment are given special priority.

The recent prolonged flood caused Gia Lai to lose more than VND1,000 billion, and a series of bridges, culverts and roads were damaged. The province must allocate and distribute 2,000 tons of rice to the people, determined not to let anyone go hungry or thirsty due to floods.
