Many artists close to Tuan Hung such as People's Artist Thanh Lam, Bang Kieu, People's Artist Tu Long, MC Anh Tuan, MC Phi Linh, supermodel Ha Vy, famous player Hong Son... were present at the Funeral Home of 108 Central Military Hospital (Hanoi) on the morning of November 17 to express condolences to singer Tuan Hung at the visit to his mother - Ms. Nguyen Thi Lam.
Appearing at the funeral, Tuan Hung was in a trance and collapsed. Besides him is his wife - Thu Huong, along with 3 children Su Hao, Son and Sam. Outside the funeral home, hundreds of wreaths were sent in exchange for deep condolences.
After the memorial service, the coffin of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lam was taken to the Van Dien Universe Cremation Temple for cremation.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lam passed away at 9:15 p.m. on November 15 after a period of serious illness, at the age of 76. The passing of his mother was a big loss for Tuan Hung.
On his personal page, he shared a childhood photo with his mother and wrote: "Give me your hand, mother. I love you, Mom, before posting a photo of the black lotus as a farewell.
According to Tuan Hung's media representative, his mother has been treated for cancer at Hanoi Oncology Hospital for the past half year and is currently being cared for by her family at home.
In July, Tuan Hung shaved his head, put his hair down at Yen Tu and had menstrual cramps every day to pray for his mother's safety. He and his wife take turns on duty at the hospital bed, trying to bring the best in her last months.
The male singer shared that since his mother was seriously ill, he deeply understood the unusual things in life. For him, his mother is always a spiritual support, the one who teaches him to live a humane, grateful life and be steadfast in the face of all storms. During her lifetime, Mrs. Lam wholeheartedly supported her son in his career, and Tuan Hung also honored his mother many times on big stages.
