7 impressive performances both audio and visual
Entering Livestage 4, the five teams drew lots in order of performance. Tran Thanh humorously teases himself as a "bad guy" because... "both bad and fake", making the atmosphere so much fun.
CongB team (Ngo Kien Huy, OgeNus, Dillan Hoang Phan, RiO, CongB) opened with the performance "Inconclusive Incident", recreating a miniature neighborhood with traffic lights, road markings, tree rows and shops. 5 brothers transform into 5 characters with different love stories, creating a vivid urban picture.
Bui Truong Linh's team (BigDaddy, Phuc Du, Do Nam Son, Vuong Binh, Bui Truong Linh) brought the sad love song "Last Christmas Night". BigDaddy sang more than usual, Phuc Du impressed with a strong rap while Bui Truong Linh showed off his talent in playing the violin, bringing a special Christmas night.
Negav's team continued with "Can I get your love", telling the love story through melodies that are both seductive and sad.
The team of Vu Cat Tuong (Robber, Thai Ngan, Jey B, Mason Nguyen, Vu Cat Tuong) chose "Thuc", setting up the stage like a time machine with constantly moving wheels. The 5 members transformed into elegant people, trapped in the flow of time, creating an attractive cinematic feel.
B Ray's team (Karik, Gill, Cody Nam Vo, Ryn Lee, B Ray) created an "explosion" on stage with "Cung Duong La El". Appearing in red, the whole team brought a fun retro atmosphere. Gill's surgery, Ryn Lee's Hue rap voice, Cody's attempt at the main vocal position and Karik and B Ray's humorous release delighted the audience.
After round 1, Vu Cat Tuong's team rose to the top 1, the top 2 belonged to team B Ray.
Opening round 2, Bui Truong Linh's team performed "The Two words", continuing to tell the love story. BigDaddy attracted attention with his catchy rap: "How can you understand this, why can you not see it? / If you don't love, don't promise, if you love, don't tell me"
CongB team brought the song "Everyone loves you here" to the end of episode 10.
The brothers burst into tears
The most emotional performance of episode 10 was the song "Everyone loves you here" performed by CongB team members. On stage, artist Thanh Hien appeared with the image of a mother waiting for her child, touching the hearts of viewers.
When performing, many members of the team could not hold back their tears. Other brothers also fell into tears when they heard confidences about their mother. Tran Thanh also admitted that he was dragged by emotions.
The members of CongB team shared their feelings and love for their mother. RiO burst into tears because when he wrote the lyrics, he remembered the days when he had to have surgery on one ear, and had his mother by his side to help him overcome everything. He invited his mother from Ho Chi Minh City to watch this performance live. In the chilling moment on stage, his mother sent words of encouragement, making the atmosphere even more calm.
I only have 30% of my hearing in my right ear, RiO said. I have undergone 3 surgeries. At that time, I was only in high school. In the first 2 failed surgeries, if the third one is unsuccessful, it will completely lose hearing in the right ear, and the virus can even eat into the brain. My mother took me to all the northern provinces and cities, and if I found any good teacher, she would take me there. I couldn't forget when I woke up for surgery, that image was terrible, I saw my mother almost collapsed in front of me, until now I still can't forget that image. I tried my best to sing a song for my mother this time. I think I finally did it.
Ogenus shared the last time he cried in front of his mother. Normally I rarely cry, but today, after performing this song, I cant stand it anymore. The last time I cried in front of my mother, sharing my thoughts I had never said before. Feeling overwhelmed when facing difficulties and challenges, such as when a child fell, for example. I just want you to understand me better. Maybe I was surprised because it had been a long time since I cried, Ogenus confided.
Ngo Kien Huy told: "Everyone has a job. Everyone wants to help their family. But the greatest gift is sometimes the simplest questions. Let's call our mother to see, ask if our parents slept well yesterday, the meal may lack meat but her life will never be without children.
