Recently, fans discovered that male idol V of BTS has opened a personal account on the TikTok platform, named @tete_kimv, the display name is Kimtaehyung (V's real name).
Immediately, the number of followers of this account increased dramatically. As of the morning of March 15, there were 3.4 million followers. This milestone was achieved just over 1 day after the account was widely publicized.
Initially, V's account was not known because this was a new account, without a profile picture. But fans discovered it when they noticed changes in the followers list of other BTS members.
On March 12, Jungkook updated his profile to only follow J-Hope and BTS's official account. But the next day, V's account was added to Jungkook's followers list, so the fan community quickly confirmed that it was a real account.
Currently, V has not posted any content on his personal TikTok page and fans are very much looking forward to his first post.
In a previous interview with GQ, both V and Jungkook revealed the possibility of participating in the TikTok dance challenge together if requested by fans.
With V's TikTok account officially operating and BTS's studio album "Arirang" expected to be released on March 20th, many people believe that these energetic collaborations are about to take place.
As the 3rd member of BTS to launch a personal account on TikTok, V is expected to be active to contribute to promoting the group's comeback this time.
In addition to TikTok, V is the BTS member with the most followers on Instagram, with a personal account reaching 70.5 million followers.
