Artists share their feelings during elections
People's Artist My Uyen said that she once had an unforgettable memory during the election a few years ago, when she encountered difficulties in receiving voter cards due to temporary residence issues during the COVID-19 epidemic.
At that time, I had difficulty receiving voter cards due to the impact of the epidemic. I burst into tears. Fortunately, the responsible officials helped me find the information again and helped me receive it. From that experience, I understand even more clearly the meaning of going to the polls.
No matter where you go or how busy you are, as a Vietnamese citizen, on election day you must try to arrange time to go to the polls. Not only affirming citizens' rights but also placing faith in delegates who have enough heart and talent for the people," she shared.
Director Ly Hai and producer Minh Ha also expressed excitement about preparing to participate in the upcoming election.
Ly Hai said that his family received a notice from the locality a few days ago and everyone felt excited. “For my family, each election is not only about exercising citizen rights but also a very special occasion to feel the spirit of community solidarity.
My husband and I always see this as an opportunity to educate our children about responsibility to the country. Although the children are not yet old enough to vote, we still explain to them that each ballot is a sending of faith to talented and virtuous people to care for the country and people.
My family hopes that the election day will be successful, so that every citizen will be radiant with joy when holding a ballot to choose dedicated delegates to contribute to building an increasingly developed country," Ly Hai said.
MC Hong Phuc also said that his family has a tradition of many generations participating in the election.
Every election, my whole family of three generations goes to vote. This is a very meaningful opportunity for each person to show their responsibility to the country. I expect a new term with many innovations, especially in the context that Ho Chi Minh City has many projects and development policies serving people's lives. I believe that this year's election will be successful and the selected delegates will be people with heart, talent and dedication to serving the people," he said.
Artists' expectations
Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy said that she always takes time to find out information about candidates before participating in the election. According to the female artist, choosing delegates is an important decision, so careful consideration is needed.
“Every election season, I proactively look up the list of delegates to read and then find out who is worthy to be elected. I will choose the person that I trust the most, expect the most and feel enthusiastic about my work. Election is not only a right but also a responsibility of every citizen. Personally, I also hope that there will be more capable female delegates, so that the voice of women is more represented in all areas of social life,” she shared.
Singer Nguyen Vu believes that each election period brings special emotions to the people.
Election is not just about choosing delegates, but also a way for each citizen to express their views and desires on social issues and the development of the country.
I feel proud because I am a part of society, where people's voices are heard and respected. I hope those elected will fulfill their promises well, bring positive changes so that people's lives become better and better," the male singer expressed.
Meanwhile, singer Doan Truong shared: "March 15th will be an opportunity for each citizen to directly exercise their right to mastery, express their will and responsibility for the development of the country. I will go to the polling station in the area where I live to directly choose the person representing my will and aspirations.

People in the neighborhood decorated flags and flowers together and shared information in community groups, creating a very excited atmosphere before the election day," the male singer shared.
