After Tencent Video's charity conference ( introducing and attracting advertisements), Vuong Tinh Viet and Chau Da both rose to the top of searches and discussions on Weibo due to the controversy surrounding the "Trade and Business" project.
Even fans of Vuong Tinh Viet created a wave of boycotting Chau Da, causing a stir on social networks.
The project " Hanh Chi Van" is adapted from a novel, with original content based on the female lead's perspective. This is a story with a sad ending with many tragedies revolving around the lives of the two main characters. However, the script will be changed when filming, the female lead becomes a time traveler to try to change the fate of the male lead.
Hanh Chi Van is produced by Hu Chinhs Hoan Ngu Anh Thi, also the management company of Vuong Tinh Viet. Therefore, from the beginning, the actor born in 2002 signed a contract and was guaranteed rights when participating in the project.
The female lead was chosen as Vuong Anh Lo, but the actress spoke out not to participate. bloggers said that Tencent Video encouraged Chau Da to take the female lead role in the movie Tranny of the Road. However, the "little flower 95" did not accept to be the second session (rear row) for Vuong Tinh Viet.
Currently, both sides are in dispute and have not reached an agreement. Hoan Ngu Anh Thi believes that the male star from Hunan has come into contact with the project before, so he should be given a first place. However, Chau Da's team demanded to ensure the actress's rights. Therefore, the plan to announce the cast and launch the project had to be temporarily suspended.
Blogger reported that Vu Chinh wanted Zhao Zheng to take on the female lead role in Vuong Tinh Viet's film, but Tencent Video refused and wanted Zhou Yue to participate in the project. The dispute over the position (the order of the actor's name appearance) has made the platform dissatisfied and is re-evaluating the cooperation.
On social networks, fans of Vuong Tinh Viet and Chau Da are arguing fiercely. Vuong Tinh Viet's fans spoke out against and boycotted Chau Da in their posts on Weibo. Many people even criticized Hoan Ngu Anh Thi for not protecting the rights of artists.
Meanwhile, Chau Da's fans believe that the actress is collaborating with Tencent Video in "Cam Nguyet Nhu Ca" and "Hello 1983", both of which are part 1 and have guaranteed rights. Therefore, it is unlikely that Chau Da will have to participate in this controversial project and be behind Vuong Tinh Viet.
Previously, Chau Da and Vuong Tinh Viet played the main roles in "Vi Thien Am Huong Lai" produced by Hoan Ngu Anh Thi. The film is broadcast on Youku, with Chau Da at the top.
