The new doctor from Phu Tho was the national valedictorian of the B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology) class in 2019, a "very rare" group when leading both the entrance and outrance exits of the school.
Of the 1071 students, 726 students have graduated from the medical school system (6 years of study) in Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Dentistry and Maxillofacial Medicine and 345 students have graduated with a bachelor's degree (4 years of study) in Nursing, Medical Testing Technology, Refractive errors, Public Health and Nutrition.

Professor Nguyen Huu Tu, Principal of Hanoi Medical University, assessed that students in the 2019-2025 class face many difficulties. While the first three years are the most difficult for those studying Medicine, this course for students has to study in the context of complicated COVID-19. This is also the first course the school has innovated its medical training program.
"For the first time in history, the training program has been completely renovated, considering the old program as abandoned. The methods and organization of teaching and assessment have also changed to create a new generation of doctors with better professional capacity, meeting the requirements of development and international integration," said Mr. Tu.
Therefore, he believes that nearly 100% of students graduating on time, most of whom took the boarding exam and passed, have been the success of this course.
He advised new doctors and bachelors not to give up their determination to rise up in their profession, always be diligent, humble, proactive in studying, working hard, conquering new challenges to become teachers' colleagues in the new journey.

The excellent graduation rate of Hanoi Medical University is among the lowest in the country. Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hanoi National University of Medicine and Pharmacy still have students graduating with excellent degrees, but Hanoi Medical University has never had them.
At the graduation ceremony of the medical system on the morning of August 29, Dr. Do Thanh Huong, Deputy Head of the Department of Higher Education Management, said that graduating with honors from Hanoi Medical University is very difficult, so the rate is always low.
The assessment and testing are very strict. Candidates take a computer theory test with a question bank that is supplemented annually. With the clinical exam, they have to take a test according to situations to assess their comprehensive abilities.
