Previously, at the 2025 Higher Education Conference, the Ministry of Education and Training requested training institutions to promptly announce the admission methods for 2026 in October 2025.
The Ministry of Education and Training said it will announce the revised Admissions Regulations to supplement and thoroughly overcome the problem of unfairness and untrustworthyness in admission methods and criteria; ensuring compliance with the 2018 General Education Program.
Also at the 2025 Higher Education Conference, the Ministry of Education and Training issued survey forms to collect opinions from schools on whether to continue to review transcripts, as well as limit the number of registration wishes of candidates, instead of allowing them to be unlimited as in previous years.
