On the afternoon of June 10, the Exam Council of Gia Lai Department of Education and Training had a quick report on the situation of completing procedures for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam.
The whole province has 37,508 candidates registered for the exam at 91 exam sites with 1,652 exam rooms. During the procedure session, 423 candidates were absent. Notably, there are 3 candidates being treated at the hospital so they cannot come to the exam site.
At the Tang Bat Ho High School exam site (Bong Son ward), candidate H.M.V suddenly became ill and was taken to the emergency room at about 5 am on the same day.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh - Head of the exam site of Tang Bat Ho High School - said that V. has a history of congenital heart disease, so her health is not guaranteed to participate in the exam procedures.
Currently, this candidate is still being monitored and treated at the hospital. In case his health is not guaranteed to participate in the exam, the exam site will complete the application for special graduation consideration according to regulations.
Meanwhile, at the exam site of Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School (Kbang commune), candidate D. T. D is being treated at the hospital after a traffic accident, so she could not come to complete the exam procedures.
Mr. Le Hong Tan - Head of the exam site of Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School - said that candidate D. had an accident some time ago. Currently, his health has basically stabilized but he still has to continue treatment at the hospital.
The family has asked for permission for the candidate to be absent from the procedure session. It is expected that on the morning of June 11, the exam site will coordinate with the Kbang Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center and the family to support the candidate to participate in the exam smoothly.
According to Mr. Tan, the exam site also has another candidate who is also being treated at the hospital, whose health is not guaranteed to take the exam. Due to average academic performance and not meeting the conditions according to regulations, this candidate does not meet the conditions to prepare a dossier for special graduation consideration.
