Accordingly, the set of textbooks "Connecting Knowledge with Life" of Vietnam Education Publishing House has been selected as a set of textbooks for general education used uniformly nationwide from the 2026-2027 school year.
According to NXBGDVN, the selection of a set of textbooks "Connecting Knowledge with Life" by NXBGDVN for unified use from the 2026-2027 school year has a complete basis, political, legal and practical basis.
Ensuring synchronization and completeness
The set of textbooks Connecting Knowledge with Life is a set of textbooks fully compiled with subjects and educational activities according to the design of the program and synchronized with textbooks and compulsory and selective study topics, ethnic languages, and local educational materials.
The "Knowledge Connection with Life" textbook set also has full supporting materials: electronic version textbooks, teacher books, homework books, electronic learning materials to support textbooks such as a digital ecosystem to support teachers and students to access electronic learning materials, training materials (textbook software, teacher books, homework books, teacher training materials and accompanying videos, slides...), helping to increase the effectiveness of teaching and learning.
Specifically for English textbooks, NXBGDVN has applied AI to support personalized learning, voice recognition applications and AI tutoring to help students practice speaking and writing effectively.
Some textbook titles do not attach the slogan of the book series "Connecting Knowledge with Life" such as English textbooks, National Defense and Security Education textbooks... due to the specific nature of content, subjects and scope of use, so they do not place heavy emphasis on identification requirements. However, all these textbook titles are compiled according to the orientation of NXBGDVN, NXBGDVN directs the organization of compilation, editing, reading and review, being responsible for content, licensing publication, printing, distribution and copyright keeping.
The "Connecting Knowledge with Life" textbook set is compiled by a team of professional, experienced and uniformly quality authors.
NXBGDVN said that the set of textbooks Connecting Knowledge with Life has a total of 431 authors, with 151 professors and associate professors (accounting for 36%), 137 doctors. Among these, some authors are leading experts, many authors have participated in textbook compilation in previous program innovations, so they have experience and inheritance in textbook compilation.
When participating in compiling textbooks according to the 2018 General Education Program, the authors were all invited by NXBGDVN to participate in training sessions with domestic and foreign experts on curriculum development, textbook evaluation, and educational science in the direction of capacity development.
The set of books has the highest selection rate among educational institutions.
According to statistics from NXBGDVN, from the time it was put into use, the set of textbooks Connecting Knowledge with Life always has the highest rate of selection in each school year, compared to all existing sets of books.

The book set is suitable for the economic conditions of the majority of parents.
In January 2024, NXBGDVN proactively adjusted retail prices down 9.6% (KNTT), horizon (11.2%). Retail prices (after price adjustment downwards) of NXBGDVN textbook sets are lower than other sets of books on average by about 24-26%.
NXBGDVN said that when comparing the selling price correlation between sets of books, the set of textbooks Connecting Knowledge with Life currently has a more optimal price, about 3% lower than the Creative Horizon set, and an average of ~9% lower than other sets of books. This difference does not come from paper quality or printing specifications, but stems from the superior advantage in terms of circulation scale. Because the set of books is trusted and chosen by the majority of localities and schools across the country, the circulation output reaches a very high level.
According to economic laws, the larger the output, the lower the production cost per product unit (thanks to optimizing fixed costs, transportation, and industrial printing).
