On August 31, Mr. Vo Dai Tan - Director of the Western Quang Ngai Construction Investment Project Management Board said that to date, 4 inter-level boarding schools in the border communes of Duc Nong, Mo Rai, Ro Koi, Sa Loong with a total investment of nearly 890 billion VND are gradually being completed, ready to welcome students on the opening day of the 2026 - 2027 school year.
During the September 2nd holiday, construction work at inter-level boarding primary and secondary schools in border areas continued to take place.
According to the investor's report, construction units are urgently completing tasks such as painting, cladding, tiling, installing doors, sanitary equipment; general cleaning of main items and equipment installation. Units are committed to striving to overcome all difficulties, focusing on completing the main items, ensuring sufficient conditions to serve the study and boarding accommodation of students when the 2026 - 2027 school year officially begins.
Four border schools simultaneously started construction from November 2025, with a total investment of nearly 890 billion VND, invested by the Western Quang Ngai Construction Investment Project Management Board.
In addition to 4 schools being completed, Quang Ngai is continuing to deploy the construction of 5 inter-level boarding primary and secondary schools in border communes including Bo Y, Ia Dal, Ia Toi, Dak Long and Dak Polo. The project is invested by the Western Quang Ngai Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a total investment of more than 1,000 billion VND.
Up to now, the units have agreed on the site location, deployed compensation and site clearance work; measured and surveyed terrain and geology; developed a master plan and project dossier, as a basis for implementing the next steps.
