Candidates will pay the registration fee online from July 31 to 5 PM on August 6.
Currently, the Ministry of Education and Training has coordinated with the Government Office to prepare the infrastructure for online connection and payment of university registration fees (through the National Public Service Portal with 17 main online payment channels nationwide).
To ensure safety and convenience and avoid overload, the Ministry of Education and Training has divided the online payment schedule for university applications on the registration system according to provinces/cities (where candidates have submitted their applications).
During the process of paying the university application fee, candidates may encounter the following 6 situations and need to handle them calmly.
Cannot see the "Pay" button on the application registration interface
If candidates cannot see the "Pay" button, it means that at that time, the candidate does not belong to the province/city that is open according to the payment schedule.
Or the payment system is overloaded and needs to be temporarily hidden to prevent congestion.
No bank account/e-wallet
Candidates can handle this by going to a bank/e-wallet transaction point to register an account.
In case candidates are in remote areas, they can go to VNPT Post or Viettel Post offices to register an e-wallet account as well as deposit money or make payments on behalf of others. Or candidates can also ask someone else to pay on their behalf.
Have a bank account but have not registered for electronic banking services
Candidates need to contact the bank to register for the service or ask someone else to pay on their behalf.
Received a debit notification in the bank account/e-wallet being used but did not receive a success notification on the XT System
If this situation occurs, candidates need to contact the payment channel's hotline or the XT System's call center to report and receive support for checking (the deducted amount for this transaction will be refunded later).
Transaction successful but does not automatically return to the XT System page or returns but requires login
If this situation occurs, candidates need to log in to the XT System again to check the transaction status: A successful transaction status means the candidate has completed the fee payment obligation.
Unable to make the fee payment transaction due to system congestion
- Do not try to access again immediately, wait about 15-30 minutes and then try again;
Review the bank account/e-wallet information to retry when the system returns to normal;
Call the XT System support call center or report to the IT teacher in charge at the high school (where the application was submitted) after several unsuccessful access attempts.
