Previously, on May 23, Vinh City People's Committee issued Document No. 3315, requesting the State Treasury of Region X to continue to allow payment of salaries and salary contributions to 61 teachers and contract staff.
Of these, 27 people are currently working at secondary schools in Cua Lo town (old). These are workers approved by Nghe An Provincial People's Committee in the plan to allocate staff, personnel and financial estimates for 2025 according to Decision No. 3720/QD-UBND dated December 31, 2024. Vinh City affirmed that it has calculated enough funding to pay from the city budget.

Therefore, contract teachers and staff are worried about how their rights will be guaranteed after Vinh City government ends operations on June 30.
