For the first time, a class in Hue has up to 3 students achieving the highest scores in Literature in the high school graduation exam, according to the homeroom teacher, the achievement comes from passion, self-study spirit and independent thinking.
12th grade Literature class, Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted (Hue City) became the focus after three students achieved 9.75 points in Literature - a score of only 8 out of 1.22 million candidates achieved in this year's exam.
Homeroom teacher Le Thi Phuong Ha shared that the first feeling when knowing the results was emotion, happiness and pride.
According to Ms. Ha, this is the first time a class in Hue has had up to three valedictorians in Literature nationwide. However, what surprised her was only the number of students with high scores, and the three names mentioned were all within expectations.
These are all students with outstanding abilities and have shown themselves very clearly throughout the learning process" - she said.
Three students including Tran Tue Kha Ai, Tran Dang Tram Anh and Le Hoang Thanh Ha all had impressive academic achievements from before.
In which, Kha Ai achieved 9.75 points in both Literature and History subjects, and also studied in parallel with the specialized system of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted and the intermediate system at the Academy of Music. The female student once reached the semi-finals of the Red Cinnamon Moon competition and was commended for her many contributions to Youth Union activities.
Tram Anh won the National Excellent Student Award in Literature, and was just admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam. Meanwhile, Thanh Ha is the class monitor, who won the First Prize at the city-level excellent student level and the Third Prize at the National Excellent Student Award in Literature in both grades 11 and 12.

According to Ms. Ha, specialized Literature students of the school are all carefully selected and have learning qualities. This year's course also stands out in hard work, spirit of effort, passion and love for literature.
All three friends are sharp and proactive in their studies, but each has their own strengths. Kha Ai is flexible and persistent; Tram Anh is solid and coherent; and Thanh Ha is sharp and meticulous" - she commented.
Not only were there three valedictorians, but the 12th grade Literature class also achieved an average score of 8.83 in Literature, and many students achieved over 9 points in subjects belonging to the admission combination.
According to the female teacher, in the teaching process, she always encourages students to promote the spirit of self-study, proactively master knowledge, develop independent thinking and boldly express personal opinions instead of learning according to stereotypes.
As one of the three valedictorians, Tran Tue Kha Ai said that after completing the exam, she did not think much about the scores but only focused on resting.
Kha Ai recounted that when entering the exam room, the only goal was to fully solve the requirements of the exam questions. "I only focused on writing, so I didn't have much time to feel the exam questions right then" - the female student said.
Female students assessed that this year's exam questions are clearly applicable and topical, especially in the reading comprehension and social commentary sections, both emphasizing the role of knowledge in life.
The impressive results of grade 12 Literature not only mark a rare milestone of Quoc Hoc Specialized High School but also show the effectiveness of encouraging students to develop independent thinking, nurture love for literature and express opinions in the learning process.
