On September 17, information from the Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) of Khanh Hoa province said that this Friday, a delegation from the Ministry of Education and Training will inspect an educational institution, and work with the School Board of Directors and the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa.
The working delegation was headed by Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuong - Standing Deputy Minister of Education and Training. The delegation also included leaders of the Department of Preschool Education, the Department of Vocational Education - Continuing Education, the Ministry Office and leaders and specialists of the Department of General Education.
The inspection content focuses on the direction of localities and the preparation of educational institutions in organizing the deployment and implementation of some tasks at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.
In which, the working delegation will inspect the situation of school and class arrangement; organization and operation of educational institutions after arrangement; school and class size, student population after arrangement; ensuring learning conditions and maintaining stable and continuous educational activities.
Another content is the arrangement and placement of management staff of educational institutions after arrangement; arranging the teaching staff; the situation of recruitment, contracts, and transfer of teachers, including the number of assigned teachers, the existing number and the number that is still lacking.
The delegation also inspected the arrangement of inter-school and inter-level teaching and the ability to meet the requirements of teaching organization.
According to the inspection content, the working group will consider the development and implementation of education plans; organize teaching, testing, and assessment; implement preschool education, general education, and continuing education programs; maintain enrollment and support students in difficult circumstances.
The situation of supplying and using textbooks and the conditions to ensure the implementation of school year tasks are also included in the inspection content.
In addition, the delegation will inspect the implementation of regulations on revenue and expenditure; inspection results, handling of violations of revenue and expenditure (if any); receipt, management of sponsorship and handling of improper revenues.
From the 2026-2027 school year, Khanh Hoa province will have 246 public educational institutions, a decrease of 482 institutions compared to 728 institutions before the arrangement, equivalent to a decrease of 66.2%.
Among the 246 public educational institutions, there are 64 kindergartens, 59 primary schools, 58 secondary schools, 15 inter-level primary - secondary schools, 37 high schools, 6 inter-level secondary - high schools, 3 continuing education centers and other centers, and 4 intermediate schools.
After arrangement, each educational institution has 1 principal. The main school is arranged with 1 vice principal; each branch is arranged with 1 vice principal. Teachers are arranged according to norms on the scale of students of the educational institution.
Based on the arrangement plan, localities have proactively arranged personnel according to the structure and number prescribed; and at the same time oriented the arrangement of the remaining staff.
