Mr. Ho Tan Minh - Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City - said that on the same day, June 23, the department will also announce the admission scores for grade 10 admission to Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted and Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted.
The benchmark score for grade 10 will usually be announced 3 days later (June 26).
In 2025, the 10th grade entrance exam will have more than 76,000 candidates taking the exam. The total enrollment target of public high schools is 70,070 students. Thus, there will be about more than 6,000 students who will not pass this exam, will study at Continuing Education Centers, Vocational Education Centers - Continuing Education, vocational education, or participate in other types of education and training.
The admission score is the total score: Literature score + Foreign language score + Math score + Priority and incentive score (if any).
Previously, after completing the judging, some judges said that the Math subjects had a better general score than last year. Among the tested, students are mainly rated with 5-7 points, it is predicted that the rate of students with below-average scores in this subject will decrease.
Many English and Literature exams are graded at 6-7 points.
