On June 4, information from Sao Vang Commune People's Committee, Thanh Hoa province said that the unit had a report on the results of inspection and verification of people's petitions related to the leak of English test questions in the end-of-semester II exam of the 2025-2026 school year at Tho Lam Secondary School.

According to the report, on May 5, class 8C organized a second semester English test with 48 students participating. On May 17, the school discovered that the exam questions had been leaked before the test took place.
Through verification, school leaders identified the person who leaked the exam questions as teacher Nguyen Huu T, a contract English teacher of the school.
The report clearly stated that before the end-of-semester II exam, Ms. Trinh Thi N - Head of the Social Sciences Department of Tho Lam Secondary School - received the semester II exam questions of the department's subjects, including English.
After that, the exam questions are shared on the Zalo group of the Science - Society Group for teachers to check and review for the last time before the group leader signs and approves, and transfers them to the school's clerk for printing and copying exam questions to serve the exam. In this Zalo group, there is teacher Nguyen Huu T.
After receiving the exam questions, teacher T downloaded them to the computer. On May 2, teacher T gave this exam question to a group of students studying at the family's English tutoring center in Xuan Hoa commune for reference, leading to the leak of the semester exam questions.
After the incident, the school used backup exam questions to organize a re-examination for 8C grade students and took backup exam results to ensure fairness.
Ms. Do Thi Thom - Vice Principal of Tho Lam Secondary School - said that due to work needs, the school has signed a monthly English teaching contract with teacher Nguyen Huu T from September 2025.
After the exam leak, the school's Disciplinary Council met, determined that teacher T violated professional regulations and decided to terminate the teaching contract with this teacher from May 19.
Regarding Ms. Trinh Thi N - Head of the Science - Society Group, the Disciplinary Council determined that Ms. N did not comply with the principle of confidentiality of exam questions and the school's professional regulations, indirectly creating loopholes leading to the leakage of exam questions before the test. The Disciplinary Council unanimously dismissed the position of group leader, did not consider emulation titles and considered the level of task completion in the 2025-2026 school year for this teacher.
In addition, the Vice Principal in charge of professional matters - must review and draw experience in professional management work; be jointly responsible for lack of inspection and supervision, allowing officials under management to violate professional procedures leading to exam leaks.
