On the morning of August 19, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the results of the 2nd high school graduation exam of candidates at the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site.
According to English subject results statistics, 197 candidates took the exam with an average score of 5.46, and a median score of 5.25.
Among these, only 13 candidates achieved 8 points or higher, accounting for 6.6%. The group with scores from 6.5 to below 8 points has 34 students, equivalent to 17.3%.


The most numerous is the group with scores from 5 to below 6.5 points with 85 candidates, accounting for 43.1%. In addition, 65 candidates achieved below 5 points, equivalent to 33%.
This result is significantly different from the previous exam. According to previous statistics, out of 207 candidates registered to take the English exam belonging to the group of candidates at this exam site, 114 students scored 8 points or higher, equivalent to more than 55%.
Thus, the percentage of candidates achieving 8 points or higher in English after the re-exam is 6.6%, much lower than the previous time.
The second result also showed differentiation between classes. The 12th grade English class led with an average score of 6.90, significantly higher than the remaining classes. Ranked behind are 12th grade Math with 5.62 and 12th grade Chemistry with 5.56.
In the opposite direction, 12th grade History has the lowest average score, at 4.95; 12th grade Literature achieves 4.97. The average score gap between 12th grade English and 12th grade History is 1.95 points.
