Regarding this case, on July 6, Tuyen Quang Provincial Police prosecuted the accused and temporarily detained Nguyen Ha Duy (born 1998, teacher at Tuyen Quang High School for the Gifted) to investigate the crime of abusing positions and powers while on duty.
Nguyen Ha Duy was prosecuted after being detained for three days in an emergency. This is the latest development in the process of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police investigating signs of violations, to clarify the irregularities in the case of more than 140 students getting a score of 10 in math in the 2026 high school graduation exam.
Previously, as Lao Dong reported, Tuyen Quang had 154 perfect scores in Math. In particular, there were 147 exam papers with perfect scores - accounting for more than 95% of the province's perfect scores - concentrated with very high density in the continuous registration number range from 080163xx to 080166xx (including 328 candidates).
Notably, 147/154 candidates who achieved a score of 10 in Mathematics for high school graduation in Tuyen Quang province all came from 1 school - Tuyen Quang Specialized High School.
