Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc has just signed Document No. 194/UBND-NC directing relevant agencies and individuals to review and urgently verify information related to the 2026 high school graduation exam results in the province.
On the evening of July 3, the Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee also chaired a working session with the Steering Committee of the 2026 Tuyen Quang Provincial High School Graduation Exam to hear the initial verification results of the case.
At the same time, requesting continued coordination with functional agencies to urgently clarify information about the Math exam scores of candidates of Tuyen Quang Specialized High School.
After listening to the report, Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc requested the Tuyen Quang Provincial High School Graduation Exam Council in 2026 to continue reviewing and inspecting the entire exam organization process for exam sites, exam rooms, and areas with high scores. The implementation of regulations on exam supervision, preservation of exam questions, exam papers, marking, grading, score entry and management of exam data.
Proactively research, grasp information and compare data to clarify contents of interest to the press and public opinion.
Strictly implement the provision of official, timely, and objective information to press agencies and people; avoid the emergence of false information and contradictory inferences that cause confusion in public opinion.
Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the verification of the case is carried out from a serious and drastic perspective, with no forbidden zones, no exceptions, and handled to the extent of error.
The education sector and Tuyen Quang Specialized High School coordinate with relevant agencies to verify specific and accurate information. Investigation and verification need to be carried out urgently to have an official conclusion soon.
Tuyen Quang province has 154 perfect scores in Math. In particular, there are up to 147 exam papers with perfect scores - accounting for more than 95% of the province's perfect scores - concentrated with very high density in the continuous registration number range from 080163xx to 080166xx (including 328 candidates).
In addition to 147 exam papers with perfect scores, most of the exam papers in this score range achieved from 9 to 10 points, the average score reached 9.55, accounting for over 91%.
Notably, 147/154 candidates who achieved a score of 10 in Mathematics for high school graduation in Tuyen Quang province all came from 1 school - Tuyen Quang Specialized High School. Nearly 300 students of this school from 9 points or higher in Mathematics.
