The workshop was organized with the aim of exchanging and discussing, thereby proposing solutions to achieve the goal of digital transformation, promoting innovation in teaching and learning, improving training quality and educational management efficiency in higher education institutions in Vietnam.
The workshop attracted 162 articles from experts, scientists, administrators, higher education managers; researchers, staff, and lecturers from more than 40 educational institutions in localities across the country. The articles submitted to the workshop covered many different aspects to analyze and evaluate the impact and role of digital transformation on higher education activities in general and the work of improving training quality in particular.
Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu - Vice President of the National Economics University said: Digital transformation has been taking place strongly in all areas of economic and social life and education is no exception to that trend.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu emphasized that digital transformation in higher education institutions needs to be considered a long-term strategic solution, associated with strong and radical reforms in management, research, teaching and learning.

To do this, the school has been investing and strongly applying technology and digital transformation in administration, training and scientific research and has initially achieved certain successes. However, due to objective and subjective reasons, some activities have not yet achieved the desired results and need to be further studied. This is also a problem not only for the National Economics University but also for many higher education institutions in Vietnam.
