Carrying a passion for discovery, Do Thuy Trang - a 12th grade student in Bac Ninh is aiming to pursue Tourism and Travel Service Management at some universities in the North. For Trang, this major not only opens up career opportunities but also helps her experience many new lands.
I really like going here and there, wanting to explore many places in the country as well as the world. So I decided to learn and plan to register for admission to the Tourism and Travel Service Management major" - Thuy Trang shared.
To prepare for the upcoming entrance exam, female students are focusing on reviewing three main subjects: Math, Literature and English to improve admission results. According to Trang, foreign languages are important skills for the tourism sector, especially in the context of the service industry increasingly integrating and contacting many international tourists.

Tra Giang (22 years old) is one of the young people who soon had the opportunity to experience an international working environment after graduating from Tourism and Travel Service Management. After graduating, Giang participated in an exchange program in Japan for 6 months with a customer care position at a hotel. Currently, she is doing a similar job in Hanoi.
I think this is a major with a lot of potential and development opportunities. After graduation, learners can work in many different positions, especially if they have foreign languages, the opportunities will be even wider" - Giang said.
According to Giang, what makes her love this job is that the working environment is always new, she meets many people and has the opportunity to learn the culture of many different countries. However, the tourism industry also requires good communication skills, flexibility and a high sense of adaptation to meet job requirements.
Big job opportunities
In the context of strong tourism recovery and increasing demand for service human resources, Tourism and Travel Service Management continues to be considered a promising major. The demand for human resources in this field is currently high, opening up many job opportunities for students right from when they are still in school.
Through actual surveys, the demand of the current labor market is very large. Many students from the 3rd year can go to work and have income, especially in positions related to services, hotels, travel or customer care" - M.A. Do Ngoc Anh shared.
