In response to the request of Hanoi City Police on ensuring traffic safety for important exams in June 2025, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) has developed and implemented a plan to ensure traffic safety and order for the 10th grade entrance exam and high school graduation exam in 2025 throughout the city.
The 2025-2026 non-professional public 10th grade entrance exam will be held on June 7 and 8; the specialized exam will be held on June 9, 2025.
This year, the whole city of Hanoi has 115,951 candidates registered to take the exam (including 102,860 candidates taking the non-professional public exam, 13,091 candidates taking the professional exam).
Hanoi has arranged 4,411 exam rooms and 201 exam locations in 30 districts, towns and cities.
The high school graduation exam will be held from June 26 to 28, 2025, with about 120,000 candidates at 250 exam locations in Hanoi.
To effectively serve the organization of the exam, the Traffic Police Department has directed teams and stations under the unit to proactively coordinate with local police and local authorities to organize surveys to grasp the location and characteristics of the exam locations and related routes.
On that basis, develop a plan to arrange forces appropriately according to each time frame and each locality's characteristics, ensuring maximum efficiency in traffic flow, traffic regulation and supporting candidates and people.
During the competition days, the Traffic Police will strengthen coordination with the Ward and Commune Police, construction inspectors, youth unions and functional organizations to deploy synchronous solutions to maintain traffic order and safety.
Focus on regulating key routes at risk of congestion, organize remote traffic flow, proactively clear hot spots, areas with construction works or areas prone to flooding in bad weather, especially during the peak hours of the first and last rounds of the competition.
At the same time, patrolling and controlling will be regularly deployed at bus stations and terminals such as Nuoc Ngam, Giap Bat, My Dinh, Yen Nghia, Hanoi Station, Long Bien... strictly handling violations such as stopping and parking in the wrong place, picking up and dropping off illegal passengers, disguised contract vehicles.
The Traffic Police force also focuses on ensuring urban order, creating favorable conditions for the movement of candidates and relatives during the exam.
In addition, the Traffic Police Department will closely coordinate with functional units in absolutely protecting the safety of transportation, preserving exam and test papers; proactively preventing and handling situations arising in terms of security and order at exam locations, contributing to organizing the exam seriously and in accordance with regulations.
Hanoi Police recommend that parents strictly comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Law when picking up and dropping off candidates for the exam such as: going in the correct section of the road, lane, obeying traffic lights, wearing helmets according to regulations.
At the testing site, it is necessary to strictly follow the instructions of the authorities, do not stop or park, causing traffic obstruction. In particular, children should not be given a vehicle to drive if they do not meet the conditions prescribed by law.
