According to Hanoi Police, at around 7:33 a.m. on June 3, Call Center 114 - City Police Command Information Center received a report of a fire at a household wood processing workshop in Lien Ha craft village (Chau Phong village, Lien Ha commune, Dong Anh district).
Immediately after receiving the information, the Command Information Center mobilized 3 fire trucks from the Dong Anh Fire Prevention and Rescue Team; 2 fire trucks from the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1; 2 fire trucks from the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 3 and officers and soldiers to quickly go to the scene to organize fire fighting, rescue and relief.
The authorities also mobilized 2 excavators, 1 water tank truck of Dong Anh Urban Environment Joint Stock Company and deployed a water pump to pump water from Chau Phong village lake to serve the fire fighting work.
At the scene, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police deployed a fire fighting formation, organized fire extinguishing, and prevented the fire from spreading to the surrounding area. At the same time, closely coordinate with local authorities and people to organize the movement of assets out of the danger zone.
At around 8:20 a.m. the same day, the fire was completely controlled by the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police, preventing the fire from spreading to people's houses and houses combined with businesses adjacent to the area where the fire occurred.
The fire burned one person's hand and was taken for a health check at Dong Anh General Hospital. Property damage is being counted and clarified by competent authorities in coordination with local authorities.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified according to the provisions of law.
