At 8:00 AM on July 1st, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the high school graduation exam scores for 2026. The exam results are used as a basis for considering high school graduation in 2026 and university and college admissions.
According to the High School Graduation Exam Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the graduation consideration score (ĐXTN) is determined based on the total score of 4 graduation exam subjects, academic results of grades 10, 11 and 12, along with priority and encouragement points according to regulations.
In which, the graduation exam score accounts for 50%, and the remaining 50% is the transcript score, calculated from the average score for the whole year of three years of high school with a weight according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The formula for calculating the score for graduation recognition in 2026 is as follows:

The average score of each academic year is calculated by the average of all subjects assessed by scores and rounded to two decimal places.
In addition, candidates who are prioritized are given a bonus of 0.25 to 0.5 points, such as children of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, ethnic minorities, children of Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, people who participated in the resistance war and were infected with chemical toxins... In case of meeting many priority criteria, candidates are only entitled to the highest priority level.
For consolation points, candidates are given a bonus of 1 to 2 points if they win prizes in provincial-level excellent student exams or science and technology competitions, practical experiments, culture, arts, and sports according to regulations. If there are many prizes, candidates will only receive the bonus point level of the highest prize.
To be recognized for high school graduation, candidates must fully meet the exam conditions, not be disciplined with annulment of exam results, have no subjects below 1 point and have a graduation consideration score of 5.0 or higher.
On the morning of July 1st, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the high school graduation exam scores for 2026.
