Long Doi Son Pagoda (Tien Son Commune, Duy Tien Town, Ha Nam Province) is a relic of important historical - cultural and archaeological value and a cultural symbol of the ancient Son Nam Town, Ha Nam Today.
The pagoda is located on the top of Long Doi mountain, built during the Ly Dynasty around 1054 - 1058 under the reign of King Ly Thanh Tong. After many historical ups and downs, the pagoda still retains its ancient, sacred features, imbued with the architectural and aesthetic style of the Ly Dynasty. With its historical and cultural values, in 2017, the Long Doi Son Pagoda relic complex was recognized by the Prime Minister as a special national monument.



One of the artifacts of outstanding historical and cultural value preserved at Long Doi Son Pagoda is the national treasure of Sung Thien Dien Linh stele and the Kim Cuong statue.
According to historical records, Sung Thien Dien Linh stele was built on the 6th day of the 7th lunar month, the second year of the 2nd year of the Lunar New Year, the year of the Dragon Phu Due Vu (121). Beer is a unique artifact, the largest in size during the Ly Dynasty.


In addition, the National Treasure of the Golden Eagle statue set includes 6 pho carved in a standing position, measured like a real person and made of monolithic stone, gray (ards). Each statue weighs about 2,000kg.
Mr. Do Van Hien - Director of Ha Nam Provincial Museum - said that over time due to the impact of war and nature, these 6 statues have been damaged, but their current status is still relatively intact. The statue is martial arts, with a comfortable demeanor, a majestic and raised face. The anti-sword statues in front of the abdomen and on the armor are carved with blooming flowers with many petals, creating a feeling of the whole body of the statue as if breathing.

The pagoda is surrounded by beautiful water-based paint, cool green forests, and spacious mineral springs.
Ms. Vu Bao Ngoc (Nam Dinh) shared: "I often go to Long Doi Son Pagoda at the beginning of the new year to pray for health, fortune, fame and enjoy the pure things here. The pagoda is located on a mountain, surrounded by cool green trees. The road to the pagoda is covered with shade, creating a feeling of relaxation and peace".
