Da Nang issues new regulations on extra teaching and learning from September 29

    Da Nang has just issued a Decision on extra teaching and learning, replacing old regulations and applying them from September 29, tightening the management of activities inside and outside schools.

    Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan signed Decision No. 32/2025/QD-UBND promulgating the Decision on extra teaching and learning in Da Nang city. The decision takes effect from September 29, 2025 and replaces Decision No. 26/2025/QD-UBND dated April 16, 2025 in Quang Nam province.

    Accordingly, the principles of extra teaching and learning are implemented according to the provisions of Article 3 of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT. Cases that are not allowed to teach extra classes or organize extra classes shall comply with the provisions of Article 4 of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT. Extra teaching and learning in schools are implemented according to the provisions of Article 5 of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT. Extra teaching and learning outside of school are implemented according to the provisions of Article 6 of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT.

    The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Education and Training to be responsible for guiding, implementing, and organizing the implementation of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT and this Regulation to educational institutions, related organizations and individuals under its management in the area; responsible for managing affiliated educational institutions for extra teaching and learning activities.

    Organize or coordinate with relevant agencies to organize inspections of extra teaching and learning activities in the management area; handle according to authority or propose to competent authorities to handle violations. Responsible before the City People's Committee for managing extra teaching and learning in the city; report when the City People's Committee requests the results of managing extra teaching and learning.

    The City People's Committee assigned the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to manage extra teaching and learning activities in the area. Guiding and inspecting the implementation of regulations on extra teaching and learning in the area; handling or recommending to competent authorities to handle violations. Supervise and inspect compliance with legal regulations on working hours, overtime and legal regulations on security, order, etc.
