At the launching ceremony of a series of events to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its establishment and announce the brand identity of the National Economics University (NEU) held today (January 25), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - Director of the National Economics University - said that after 70 years of formation and development, the school has built a foundation for operations in the fields of training, scientific research and policy consulting.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, in the process of development, the National Economics University participates in building training programs, developing a team of lecturers and researchers, and implementing many research projects to serve both academic and practical goals. The school currently focuses on the task of training human resources and contributing expertise to socio-economic development.
In the context of many changes in higher education, especially in the face of requirements for innovation, digital transformation and international integration, the NEU identifies the adjustment of development orientation based on values that have been formed throughout its operation.
Regarding the newly announced brand identity, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong said that this is not only a change in form but also reflects the development direction of the school in the coming period, towards modernization and more suitable to the current higher education context, while still inheriting traditional values.
The brand identity set newly launched today is also a commitment from the school when entering the milestone of 70 years of formation and development: A commitment to training quality, academic prestige, the spirit of constant innovation and a commitment to accompany the country's development in the coming period" - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong affirmed.

Speaking at the event, Master Tran Quy Long - Deputy Head of the NEU Communications Department - shared that the brand identity is built to reflect the development vision, academic values and social responsibility orientation of the National Economics University in the context of higher education associated with the knowledge economy.
According to Master Tran Quy Long, the school aims to build the image of a research university, participating in shaping thinking in the fields of economy, governance and strengthening international integration. On that basis, the Brand Identification Department is designed in a modern, minimalist visual language, suitable for long-term use.
Regarding the mission, he said that the new identification system aims to convey the core values and 70-year traditions of the school into a unified language, thereby connecting the academic foundation with innovation, and at the same time strengthening the cohesion of the NEU community at home and abroad.
He also noted that strategically, the brand identity system contributes to helping schools be more clearly identified as a higher education institution with a modern orientation, focusing on social responsibility and expanding academic cooperation.
Regarding the logo in the identity set, the logo is kept in the same layout as the symbols of maps, gears, open books - showing the role of NEU in high-quality training, associated with sustainable development. The design is unchanged to ensure legal aspects and preserve traditional identity.
